Ride into History with Capt. Farley
8 Jun 2008, Time - 10:30-am to 3pm

The Culpeper Horse Owners' Association will conduct its second "Capt Farley's Last Ride" on June 8.

Riders meet at Brandy Station and ride to Mountain Run in Stevensburg. A guest lecturer will talk about the life and times of Confederate Capt Farley and the significant role he played during the bloody Battle of Brandy Station.

The guided ride departs from the historically restored Graffiti House at 10:30am. A car will carry lunches and drinks down to Mountain Run for a creekside meal and lecture. Return is around 3pm.

Horse draw wagons and carriages are welcome as well as riders.
